Woodlands - Cabernet Merlot

2004 is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 14% Malbec. The key words to describe this wine are rich and balanced. The colour is an inky purple. The nose shows lifted classic Margaret River Cabernet character interlaced with mint, blackberry, mulberry and cedary oak. The palate’s primary characters mirror those of the nose. This wine has great texture and mouth feel, and finishes long and balanced with 2004’s characteristic fine powdery tannins.
